CLUB POLICIES
PURPOSE:
Create a competitive and balanced pickleball environment for players of all levels.
To ensure fair matchmaking and promote player development.
SKILL LEVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Players must compete within a 0.25 skill level range of their designated ladder.
For example, if you have a DUPR rating of 3.25 you may play in the 3.5 ladder.
Players may request to play up to a higher skill level ladder but will require explicit permission from a Hub pickleball instructor if they are not within .25 of the rating or if they don’t have a DUPR.
Playing down to a lower skill level ladder is not permitted.
RATING GUIDANCE:
Players are encouraged to have a DUPR (Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating) to help determine their appropriate skill level.
If you do not have a DU PR, ask for assistance to create an account with the front desk. You can also go to www.mydupr.com
CONSEQUENCES FOR NON-COMPLIANCE
Players playing outside their designated skill level range may be removed from ladders without notice.
The Hub pickleball director and instructors reserve the right to enforce these policies to maintain the integrity of the ladder system.
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
The Hub pickleball director may adjust these policies as needed to ensure a positive and fair playing environment.
Any participant that is a no show or last minute cancellation will result in the entire forfeiture of their payment. If a participant needs to cancel, it must be within 72 hours (or more) and will result in a partial refund with a $5 service fee. All refunds will be issued as account credit.
Ladder rules and formats may vary for specific events. These variations will be communicated in advance.
